The honorable Governor Doug Ducey has made an official proclamation that January 2019 is Manufactured Housing Month.
Many years ago the manufactured housing industry was thought to be, and maybe rightly so, a lesser quality place to dwell. Now, with modern technologies, “green” building practices can be included in manufactured homes. They are a GREAT alternative to traditional built structures. If you have a lot and are looking at a traditional dwelling or a manufactured or modular home the differences can be indiscernible. There are still entry level homes that leave a little to be desired, but there are also manufactured and modular homes that surpass traditional built homes in every way, and that even offer net zero construction.
